Boopreel effects
Give your pet the zoomies, from one photo
Zoomies turns one still photo of your pet into 5 seconds of pure speed: your dog, cat or other animal suddenly dashes in fast, happy circles. Attach the photo in ChatGPT, ask Boopreel for the zoomies, and the clip plays in the chat.
What happens in the clip
In the clip your pet suddenly gets the zoomies: it dashes in fast, happy circles with its ears flapping, then skids to a stop and looks proud of itself. The camera stays still while the animal races around the scene from your photo.
Zoomies is the fastest motion Boopreel asks for, and fast motion is where the video model blurs most: in our sample the middle of the clip is a streak of motion rather than a crisp run. The animal itself stays the same from start to finish.
About this sample
Made on 27 October 2026 on Boopreel's own video worker, with the same model and settings as every clip: 81 frames at 16 frames a second, 5.06 seconds.
Our note on this take: fair. The dog makes a quick turn with heavy motion blur mid-clip, and it stays the same dog throughout.
It's the only take we made of this effect, and we kept it as the sample rather than making more until one came out sharper.
Photos that work
- The dash happens in the scene from your photo: our sample's golden retriever races around the lawn it was photographed on.
- If you want less blur, Happy Dance and Boop move less and come out sharper. You can try them on the same photo without attaching it again.
- Pets only: a person's face in view gets the photo refused, and a refused photo doesn't count toward the day's three clips.
Ask for it in ChatGPT
Attach the photo in the chat, then type one of these:
- "Use Boopreel to give my dog the zoomies"
- "Make a zoomies video of my cat from this photo"
- "Now make a Zoomies clip with the same photo"
- Open the Boopreel listing and add it once (no account, nothing to sign in to).
- Attach a photo of your pet and ask for Zoomies. Naming Boopreel helps ChatGPT pick it instead of drawing a still picture.
- The clip plays in the chat in about a minute, or a few minutes when the video machine has to start first. Tap Save video to download the MP4 or share it from your phone.
Good to know
- Every clip is 5 seconds long, has no sound and carries a small "Boopreel · AI" mark, plus a tag in the file saying it was AI-generated.
- Each person can make 3 clips a day. Refused photos and failed clips don't count, and the count starts again at midnight in your time zone.
- Boopreel works in ChatGPT in the US and Canada.
- Animals only: a photo with a person's face in view is refused, and a person far from the pet is cropped out.
- Photos can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC. Photos and clips are deleted after 30 days, or at once when you ask ChatGPT to delete your Boopreel clips.
- Zoomies came out on October 5. The next new effect arrives on November 9.
Questions
Why is part of the clip blurry?
Zoomies is very fast motion, and the video model blurs fast movement. The other effects move less and look sharper.
Can I try another effect on the same photo?
Yes. Ask for another effect “with the same photo” and Boopreel reuses it; there's no need to attach it again.
