Make your dog dance from a photo
Happy Dance is Boopreel's answer to “make my dog dance”. Attach one ordinary photo of your pet in ChatGPT, ask for the dance, and Boopreel sends back a 5-second video in which the same animal rises onto its hind legs and does a bouncy little dance.
What happens in the clip
In the clip your pet stands up on its hind legs and dances: its front paws wave left and right in rhythm and its head bobs happily. The camera stays still, so all five seconds are about the dance.
Boopreel asks the video model to keep the same animal, with the same fur colors and markings as in your photo, and to keep the motion smooth and cheerful. The scene comes from your photo too, so the clip looks like your own picture coming to life.
It isn't only for dogs. ChatGPT tells Boopreel what the animal in the photo is (for example “corgi puppy” or “orange tabby cat”), and the dance is described for that animal, so cats, rabbits and other pets dance too.
About this sample
Made on 27 October 2026 on Boopreel's own video worker, with the same model and settings as every clip: 81 frames at 16 frames a second, 5.06 seconds.
Our note on this take: the corgi stands and bounces, and it stays the same dog from the first frame to the last.
The photo already showed the whole puppy up on its back legs, paws included, so the whole dance stays in the frame.
Photos that work
- Use a photo where your pet is large in the frame and in focus. If Boopreel finds no animal, a closer photo is the usual fix.
- Our sample photo showed the whole puppy, paws included. A close-up of the face leaves less of the frame for the paws to wave in.
- If the first take isn't quite right, ask for another version with the same photo. Each take is a new clip and counts toward the day's three.
Ask for it in ChatGPT
Attach the photo in the chat, then type one of these:
- "Use Boopreel to make a happy dance video of my dog"
- "Make my dog do a happy dance from this photo"
- "Use Boopreel to make my cat dance"
- Open the Boopreel listing and add it once (no account, nothing to sign in to).
- Attach a photo of your pet and ask for Happy Dance. Naming Boopreel helps ChatGPT pick it instead of drawing a still picture.
- The clip plays in the chat in about a minute, or a few minutes when the video machine has to start first. Tap Save video to download the MP4 or share it from your phone.
Good to know
- Every clip is 5 seconds long, has no sound and carries a small "Boopreel · AI" mark, plus a tag in the file saying it was AI-generated.
- Each person can make 3 clips a day. Refused photos and failed clips don't count, and the count starts again at midnight in your time zone.
- Boopreel works in ChatGPT in the US and Canada.
- Animals only: a photo with a person's face in view is refused, and a person far from the pet is cropped out.
- Photos can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC. Photos and clips are deleted after 30 days, or at once when you ask ChatGPT to delete your Boopreel clips.
- Happy Dance came out on October 5. The next new effect arrives on November 9.
Questions
Can my cat do the Happy Dance?
Yes. Happy Dance works on any animal in the photo: dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and others. Boopreel never animates people.
Does the clip have music?
No. Boopreel clips have no sound track, so you can add the song you want when you post the MP4.
